Hi, I'm Chloé

Here's a little about me

A bit more about me,

I'm a Washington State native that moved back

after a nine year hiatus in Southern California. I live in

downtown Seattle with my one cat, Fiona. You'll

often find me hiking in the mountains, on the beach

playing volleyball, or posted in bed watching Survivor

re-runs.

Previous to UX, I spent seven years as a Veterinary

Technician, acting as a lead Veterinary Technician

for two years. I took pride in being an advocate and

voice for our four-legged friends and found that

empathy played a big role when working with

frightened animals and stressed owners. Working

as a Vet Tech required a lot of on-the-spot problem

solving, 1:1 engagement with clients and co-workers,

and a lot compassion towards people and pets alike.

When I felt that I had reached the top of the ladder as

a Vet Tech, and that there wasn't much room

for growth, I started looking for a career where I could

still apply these skills.

I had found a creative outlet in UX, in a field

where I know I can continue growing and

improving my skills and understanding of

an ever-expanding job field. I have a knack

for Project Management and a passion for

UX Research. Learning the human thought

process and behaviors forever excites me

and to see it translate into the backbone

of UX design is what fuels my career.

UX is evolving before my eyes and I couldn't

be more excited to be apart of this transition

into AI and beyond.

I originally pursued a career in Veterinary Medicine.

It was after seven years that I'd realized I had

reached the top of the ladder as a Veterinary
Technician. The job started to feel mundane

and very routine, with little room for growth. That

is when I decided to make a switch in my career.

I dipped my toes into Orthodontics for a short

while, as an Orthodontics Assistant before coming

to the same realization. It was then that I was

recommended UX and everything started to

fall into place.
